Thompson & Knight has a longstanding commitment to maintaining a substantively diverse and inclusive environment for employees and contributing meaningfully to the advancement of diverse individuals and women in local communities. The Firm's Global Diversity and Inclusion Committee (the Committee) is led by Chief Diversity Officer (CDO), Nichole Dotson-Olajuwon, and co-chairs Timothy Brown and Jackie Robinson, Thompson & Knight partners. The Committee focuses on the development and implementation of initiatives aimed at broadening our efforts in recruiting, mentoring, and retaining a diverse workforce of attorneys and staff; increasing the pipeline of ethnically diverse individuals and women in the legal profession; and making our communities better places to live and work for all persons.

As the first Texas law firm to hire a full-time CDO, Thompson & Knight continues to make strides in its goal to become the diversity and inclusion model for the legal communities. In recognition of these efforts, Thompson & Knight is honored to be the recipient of the following awards and designations:
